Mini Biography
Began his journey as a filmmaker at twelve years old when he wrote his first
feature length screenplay. He continued to perfect his writing and storytelling
ability with the creation of multiple screenplays throughout his childhood years.
Taking his passion further he began producing short films with his friends in
High School.
After graduating from Archbishop Mitty, he attended the Academy of Art University
in San Francisco. There he honed his skills as a filmmaker and created many short
films including his senior thesis project, "Living Dreams". He went on to win the
award for Best Director at the Academy of Art Filmfest and graduated from the
Academy of Art University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Motion Picture &
Television Degree in Directing.
That summer, he moved to Southern California to further pursue his career in
filmmaking. He has since gone on to create multiple spec commercials including
the top ten winning "Dibs, too Good to Gamble" and filmed his first horror short
film, "Derelict Abyss", which has won four awards on the festival circuit.
"If I can touch someone emotionally with my films;
make them think, laugh or cry; then I know that I
have succeeded as a filmmaker. And there is no
better reward then that grab for the Kleenex or that
chuckle that no one can hold in!" -Eric Bair
